*[06:59 UTC-4]*[Today's Live Game(s) Results]*<[Facebook]>..Poker:[05:21]:..picked up the awaiting drop(s/ad.) for "22K house money"..[as/usual dealt with other tasks to run some time of the "drop clock"]:[05:27]:..four tables played..all as/usual were of the 1K/.5K variety and on all as/always I risked the max-buy-in of 125K..[on the rare occasions that I play on a table other than a 1K/.5K blind table I still always risk the max-buy-in]..with the exception of a couple hands heads up and very briefly a four handed game..all hands were three at the table..across the four tables there was very little changing of the players..I don't think I played with more that 12 different players..and with the exception of three rooks..(less than 400 hands played)..all of the rest were known to me from former tables..yup..the "Ladies of Poker" were out in full force today..and except for one of the rooks who was "shown the door" by one of the "Ladies" all other exits were by way of the "Reaper"..not a any-two-carder in sight..just a few pocket Ace/any pair or paint pre-flop bets..but more bouts of "My pairs bigger than Yours' is..and of course some pot-pushing..1st table..two of the more aggressive of the "L.o.P"..12 hands played..won 4 pots..3 were small/blind pots..with a pair & twice with 2-pair..and a decent meal for the blind raccoon..when I flopped 2 pair..[hit both hole cards]..a rivered the full boat...was up when the "Reaper" got me....2nd table for most of my time there just the Old Trollie..an "L.o.P" & a rook..never caught a quality hand or rarely any 1/2 way decent one..only 3 pots out of 16 hands played..on a pair and twice 2-pair..leaked a few chips..and then "The Reaper"..3rd table..basically a carbon copy of the 2nd..just different faces..and an aggressive "rook"..who got show the door..and a "L.o.P" entered the fray..this time 4 pots..all small/blind 'cept one..a 1/2 way decent one..in total 4 pots with twice a pair and twice 2-pair..in 14 hands..leaked a few chips here as well..and "The Reaper"..checked stats..was still up marginally..but hadn't played 50 hands yet..ergo..4th table..an aggressive "rook" and 2 of the more aggressive "L.o.P"..made a small pot with 2 pair..and drew blank on the other 12 hands played..and again "The Reaper"..ergo..:{stats}:..41 minutes played..105 minutes off the "drop clock"..57 hands played..12 winners..1 out of every 4.75 hands played..left 5,450$ on the tables..[no slots]....Video Poker Live: a pretty bad run for the 2x modifier this morning..got the modifier in ten hands@50K chips/hand but dropped 250K chips..which I will recover and more on the double bonuses..I discovered here recently that my computer clock as running slow..fixed the problem..so based on observation this morning..the 2x modifier re-sets@15:00 GMT..[11:00 local time].."Current Bank" now stands@59.7'M chips....[11:11 UTC-4]....Blackjack 21: have not played any hands in quite awhile..have been taking the drops/roulette spins regularly but for assorted reasons haven't "put my head in the noose" so to speak and play some hands..ergo..10 hands played@100$/hand..I was catching mostly decent cards but then so was the dealer..4 wins(1 on a dealer bust & 1 blackjack)/4 losses/2 pushes(1 on a 19 & 1 on a 20)..but because of the blackjack ended up 50$.."Current Bank" now stands@1,094,400$....[14:49 UTC-4]....From the Tables: I had taken drops/bonuses on all three live game which I access thru "Facebook" around 17:15 (local time)..went back just now for the last drop of the day..none of the three games will load..??..but this has happened once before since "Facebook's" format change..??..what follows is "best estimate of Day's End Poker: Total Bank: 677.6'M / Net Gain Today: 236.6'K / Drops[6]&Roulette[1]: 242'K / Tables[4]: -5,450$ / Hands Played Today: 57 / Total Hands Played: 62.314 / [[noted]: 4 drops@22K & 2 drops@44K & one roulette spin@66K]....[19:39 UTC-4]....

Glossary of Terms Spades

A game: made up of several hands, collect 500 points and you win....you can also win regardless of you're score if your opponents score -200 points or more

Bags: if you as a team take more tricks then you bid, you get 1 bag for each trick over, collect 10 and you lose 100 points

Bid: before a hand is played, based on the cards you hold, now many tricks you can win

Hand: players play one card each high card in suit takes the hand unless a trump is played and then high trump wins the hand, 13 tricks per hand

Lay of the cards: how the cards are dealt on any given hand

Nil Bid: a bid of nil......your intent to not take a trick in a hand, +100 points if you succeed, -100 points if you take even 1 trick

Over bid hand: there are 13 tricks per hand.....if the bids total 14 or more....one team will go back...maybe both

Set: a team failures to make their bid, their lose 10 points for each bid example team total bid was 7, team took 6 or less tricks....you lose 70 points.....also referred to as "going in the hole" or "going back"

Suits: Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts

Trick: one round of play in a hand

Trump: in Spades, the spades are always trump, beats everything except a higher trump, can only be played if you don't have the suit lead..must be played if trump is lead.....trump can't be lead until a player trumps in....

Trumping In: playing a trump on a trick when you are out of that suit....but it's the players choice...unless trump is lead...

We/They: as in any partners card game one of the possible names for the 2 teams....I've seen "us" & "them".....and a few others i can't mention here

Glossary of Terms Solitaire

Auto-play: when the next series of moves is obvious, the game may automatically do them.{aka: auto-fill}....

Foundation: where you're trying to more the cards to.....move them all and you win

DECK: from which cards are turned over one at a time

Relaxed: a change in the rules from the standard game to make it play easier..varies from game to game..

Re-Set/Undo: both Just Solitaire and World of Solitaire games have both a re-set and an undo option....re-set takes the game back to the start....undo will remove one move at a time....both can be useful to try other options....

Tableau: where the cards to be moved start the hand
