*[]*[Today's Live Games(s) Results]*<[Facebook]>..Poker:[04:32]:..a late start..picked up the awaiting drop(w/ ad.) for "44K house money"..[the /usual tasks to run time of the "drop clock"]:[05:43]..four tables played..all as/usual were of the 1K/.5K blinds variety & as//always risked my 125K-max-buy-in on all four..play varied from several hands "heads up" to very briefly a five handed game..majority of hands were with three at the table..with the exception of the first table were I only was there for four hands before the "Reaper" got me before I really had any sense of the other player's style the rest of the tables were pretty much the same..at least briefly all had the requisite visit by at least one kamikaze..on one there was a dude who just called the blinds pre-flop and went all-in after every flop..??..thankfully no of them were successful for very long..play was very sporadic..know recognizably pattern..some pre-flop pot-pushing..sometimes a min-raise..sometimes an all-in..but seemingly at random..some pot pushing after the flop..a couple times I don't think there was a logical reason..??..a few bouts of "My pair is bigger than Yours' is"..and of course many..pocket singleton Ace/any pair/any paint..or just on a whim..and what would the day be without at least 1 or 2 ersatz table captains..you play their way or take the highway to the lobby..and in this sporadic chaos..another day where I could catch a hand for love or money [the latter being preferable]..had pocket pairs maybe 6 or 7 times and only hit the set once..rivered the third "Lady"..never made anything but a small/blind pot..and except for the last table were I basically broke even..and the first where I was there long enough to lose much..took my lumps on the other two..and there were a few hands I'd really would have liked to see one more card..but the price to play was just to dang rich..all exits by the bony hand of the "Grim Reaper"..ergo..:{stats}:..34 minutes played..105 minutes of the "drop clock"..pace of play was very fast..52 hands played..7 pots won..1 for every 7.43 hands played..left 36,525$ on the table..well with in the "44K house money" but dang..just can't seem to catch a hand..[no slots]....[edited 19:31 UTC-4]....Video Poker Live: a pretty typical run for the 2x modifier..as/usual 10 hands@50K coins/hand on the "Tens or Better"..except that I "flopped" a full boat Fives full of Twos for 300K coins..and because of that one hand the /usual loss ended up with me achieving the 2x modifier and pocketing an extra 100K coins..and in the process leveled up to the 26th level and a 75'K coin bonus..so not a bad run atall.."Current Bank" stands@74.475'M coins....[11:35 UTC-4]....Day's End Poker: Total Bank: 681.2'M / Net Gain Today: 623.5'K / Drops[6]$Roulette[2]: 660'K / Tables[4]: -36,525$ / Hands Played Today: 52 / Total Hands Played: 62,725 / [[notes]: 6 drops@44K & 2 roulette spins@198K(each))]....[19:35 UTC-4]....

(This is just commentary on my journeys around online gaming, truth be told with few exceptions I play mostly solitaire games.....the two notable exception at present is a "free" poker site and a "free" blackjack site....please note.......no real money changes hands....just faux game money)

(I tend to post sometimes several times a day.....rather then start a new post.....I just edit the existing post and tack on to it....I generally post for the last time during the day between 20:00 UTC-5 & 21:30 UTC-5)

Glossary of Terms Spades

A game: made up of several hands, collect 500 points and you win....you can also win regardless of you're score if your opponents score -200 points or more

Bags: if you as a team take more tricks then you bid, you get 1 bag for each trick over, collect 10 and you lose 100 points

Bid: before a hand is played, based on the cards you hold, now many tricks you can win

Hand: players play one card each high card in suit takes the hand unless a trump is played and then high trump wins the hand, 13 tricks per hand

Lay of the cards: how the cards are dealt on any given hand

Nil Bid: a bid of nil......your intent to not take a trick in a hand, +100 points if you succeed, -100 points if you take even 1 trick

Over bid hand: there are 13 tricks per hand.....if the bids total 14 or more....one team will go back...maybe both

Set: a team failures to make their bid, their lose 10 points for each bid example team total bid was 7, team took 6 or less tricks....you lose 70 points.....also referred to as "going in the hole" or "going back"

Suits: Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts

Trick: one round of play in a hand

Trump: in Spades, the spades are always trump, beats everything except a higher trump, can only be played if you don't have the suit lead..must be played if trump is lead.....trump can't be lead until a player trumps in....

Trumping In: playing a trump on a trick when you are out of that suit....but it's the players choice...unless trump is lead...

We/They: as in any partners card game one of the possible names for the 2 teams....I've seen "us" & "them".....and a few others i can't mention here

Glossary of Terms Solitaire

Auto-play: when the next series of moves is obvious, the game may automatically do them.{aka: auto-fill}....

Foundation: where you're trying to more the cards to.....move them all and you win

DECK: from which cards are turned over one at a time

Relaxed: a change in the rules from the standard game to make it play easier..varies from game to game..

Re-Set/Undo: both Just Solitaire and World of Solitaire games have both a re-set and an undo option....re-set takes the game back to the start....undo will remove one move at a time....both can be useful to try other options....

Tableau: where the cards to be moved start the hand
