*[06:45 UTC-4]*[Today's Live Game Results]*<[Facebook]>..Poker:[04:55]:..picked up the waiting drop(w/ad.) for "44K house money"..[the/usual other tasks to run time off the drop clock]..:[04:59]:..a total of five tables..all as/usual were of the 1K/.5K variety..and as/always risked the max-buy-in of 125K..play varied from "heads up" to very briefly a six handed game..except for the 4th table..most hands were with three players at the table..play was erratic..there were many small/blind pots won..but then a couple where three or four players were all-in..a couple of any-two-carders/continuation betting..pot-pushing..splashes of the pot pre-flop on pocket singleton Ace/any pair/any paint..a quite a few bouts of "My pairs bigger that Yours is"..I even got into a minor one..just min-raises/re-raises..and one player who either folded or went all-in pre-flop..but when the rest of the table refused to play settled down..1st table..14 hands played..was really catching..3 pots won..on a high card..a pair & a set of Aces..and had gained the 10K+ mission before the "Reaper" sent me packing..2nd table..nine hands played..got blanked..was getting great looks..flopped 4 to a straight once..but didn't hit the card..same with a 4 to the "nut flush"(Ace in the pocket)..but any-two-carding/continuation betting & me willing to call..add to that getting a visit from the "Reaper" with a nice 2-pair and I was down about 18'K after the first two tables..3rd table..10 hands played..3 pots won..twice on a pair..both small/blind..and one when a turned a set of Jacks..and a halfway decent pot.."Reaper" got me again..but was up marginally on the table..4th table..only 9 hands played except for the first hand that was four handed..and a couple of others at three..the rest were "heads up"..four hands won..once on a nice 2-pair..1st hand..four at the table..King/Four unsuited..called a 2K bump..flopped a King..another 2K..called..turned not just another Four but four to the King high flush..no here..rivered the flush..first to act raise 2.5K..got a min-re-raise..return the favor with a call/re-raise..got three calls..a very nice meal for the blind raccoon..2nd..small pot on a straight..3rd hand..another small pot on a straight..and then the "Reaper" dragged me "a kickin. & a screamin'" from the table..5th table..mixed play..a couple of the "Ladies of Poker"..12 hands played..some pot-pushing after the flop..5 pots won..twice on high cards..a pair..a 2-pair & the only halfway decent pot when I rivered Twos full of Tens..and then "The Reaper"..ergo..:[stats]:..50 minutes played..109 minutes off the "drop clock"..54 hands played..15 winners..1 for every 3.6 hands played..left with an extra 15,350$ 1 hadn't brung with me..& 200$ from 5 goes at the "one-armed-bandit"....Blackjack-21: allow me to preface this with the fact that in ten hands the dealer didn't bust once..10 hands@100$/hand..I made a 2-card 20 on the first hand..made one other 2-card 20 for a push..made a 2-card 19 twice..lost both..and the other 6 hands were 16 or less four of them were 12's...down 700$.."Current Bank" stands@1,130,700$....[11:52 UTC-4]....Video Poker Live: pretty much the same story here as above..10 hands/50K coins/hand..at least this time I remember to re-set the bet to 50K coins..a pair twice & one 2-pair..down 300$..but I have won back most of yesterday's losses..but have the 2x modifier..I forgot to mention that for the last few days the "Jackpot Wheel" appears..seems to be on a 24 hour cycle from the last time you spun it.."Current Bank" now stands@77.17'M coins....[12:00 UTC-4]....Day's End Poker: 682.3'M / Net Gain Today: 477.6'K / Drops[7]&Roulette[1]: 462'K / Tables[5]&Slots[5]: +15,550$ / Hands Played Today: 54 / Total Hands Played: 62,878 / [[notes]: 5 drops@44K & 2 drops@22K & 1 roulette spin@198]..[[From the Tables]: with "Poker" back up for the last couple days hopefully things will be back to normal..or as normal as they ever are]....[19:02 UTC-4]....

Glossary of Terms Spades

A game: made up of several hands, collect 500 points and you win....you can also win regardless of you're score if your opponents score -200 points or more

Bags: if you as a team take more tricks then you bid, you get 1 bag for each trick over, collect 10 and you lose 100 points

Bid: before a hand is played, based on the cards you hold, now many tricks you can win

Hand: players play one card each high card in suit takes the hand unless a trump is played and then high trump wins the hand, 13 tricks per hand

Lay of the cards: how the cards are dealt on any given hand

Nil Bid: a bid of nil......your intent to not take a trick in a hand, +100 points if you succeed, -100 points if you take even 1 trick

Over bid hand: there are 13 tricks per hand.....if the bids total 14 or more....one team will go back...maybe both

Set: a team failures to make their bid, their lose 10 points for each bid example team total bid was 7, team took 6 or less tricks....you lose 70 points.....also referred to as "going in the hole" or "going back"

Suits: Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts

Trick: one round of play in a hand

Trump: in Spades, the spades are always trump, beats everything except a higher trump, can only be played if you don't have the suit lead..must be played if trump is lead.....trump can't be lead until a player trumps in....

Trumping In: playing a trump on a trick when you are out of that suit....but it's the players choice...unless trump is lead...

We/They: as in any partners card game one of the possible names for the 2 teams....I've seen "us" & "them".....and a few others i can't mention here

Glossary of Terms Solitaire

Auto-play: when the next series of moves is obvious, the game may automatically do them.{aka: auto-fill}....

Foundation: where you're trying to more the cards to.....move them all and you win

DECK: from which cards are turned over one at a time

Relaxed: a change in the rules from the standard game to make it play easier..varies from game to game..

Re-Set/Undo: both Just Solitaire and World of Solitaire games have both a re-set and an undo option....re-set takes the game back to the start....undo will remove one move at a time....both can be useful to try other options....

Tableau: where the cards to be moved start the hand
