*[06:29 UTC-4]*[Today's Live Game(s) Results]*<[Facebook]>..Poker:[03:57]:..took the awaiting roulette spin for "154K house money"..[the/usual other tasks to run time off the "drop clock]:[04:52]:..five tables played..all were of the 1K/.5K variety & as/always I put my 125K-max-buy in@risk..play on all five tables ranged from "heads up" to very briefly a table of five players..play was ill regular at best..sheer mayhem at times..and at other times just a series of checks and a blind pot..no discernible pattern..but there was one constant throughout the five tables..I seldom caught a hand..and when I did it either ended in a small/blind pot win for me..I got beat by a rivered better hand..got blow off the hand by a raise to big for me to call..or the "Reaper" got me mid-hand..oy vey..never lost a big pot..never won a big pot..but since the vast majority of the hands were three handed.."got eaten alive" by too many times in the blinds..1st table..the two other players squared off in repeated bouts of "My pairs bigger than Yours' is"..and one of the two was KO'd..within a hand or two another opponent stepped into the ring..won a small pot when their were in their corners..finally caught a hand..flopped trip Jacks..was about to enter the "ring" when the "Reaper" counted me out..2nd table..pretty much the same scenario..except this time I knew the combatants..two of the more aggressive "Ladies of Poker"..just wasn't catching but did win a blind pot with 2-pair between rounds..3rd table..a table captain present..another of the "L of P"..did catch a coupe decent hands had a nice two pair..river put four to a flush on the board..wasn't willing to call a 25K raise..had turn a straight but had the "low" two cards in the poker..river put four to the straight on the board..wasn't willing to call another 25K raise..did win a small pot with trip Jacks..but then the "Reaper"..4th table..pot-pusher..any two carder..and a couple of all-ins pre-flop..on pocket cards..never caught a hand..did get a piece of a split pot when there was a board straight..again "The Reaper"..5th table..a player I've seen before but thankfully not in quite awhile..over 100K hands played..a topper..& loves to make the pre-flop mega-raise up to and including all-in..he briefly found someone to play with..busted out twice..but won the re-match..and when the 2 of us who were left refused to play..he left..won two blind pots "heads up" when the other player folded..and twice blind pots with a pair..actually broke almost even at this table..had the 16 hands mission by the 2nd table..but never got the 10K+ mission until the 4th..funny thing about is if I could have caught a couple quality hands the results could have been different..but..just couldn't catch a hand..ergo..:{stats}:..46 minutes played..101 minutes off the "drop clock"..58 hands played..8 pots..1 for every 7.25 hands played..left 37,975$ on the tables..[no slots]....Video Poker Live:..another no so good run for the 2x modifier..10 hands@50K chips/hand..dropped 200K..didn't hit anything but pairs & 2-pairs..[shrug]..but the 2x modifier will re-coop the loss and more..earlier today I hit the "Happy Bonus" for 200K chips(w/2x modifier).."Current Bank" now stands@56.8'M chips....[11:23 UTC-4]....Day's End Poker: Total Bank: 676.9'M / Net Gain Today: 578'K / Drops[6]&Roulette[2]: 616'K / Tables[4]: -37,975$ / Hands Played Today: 58 / Total Hands Played: 62,206 / [[notes]: 6 drops@44K & 2 roulette spins: 1@154K & 1@198K]....[18:51 UTC-4]....

(This is just commentary on my journeys around online gaming, truth be told with few exceptions I play mostly solitaire games.....the two notable exception at present is a "free" poker site and a "free" blackjack site....please note.......no real money changes hands....just faux game money)

(I tend to post sometimes several times a day.....rather then start a new post.....I just edit the existing post and tack on to it....I generally post for the last time during the day between 20:00 UTC-5 & 21:30 UTC-5)

Glossary of Terms Spades

A game: made up of several hands, collect 500 points and you win....you can also win regardless of you're score if your opponents score -200 points or more

Bags: if you as a team take more tricks then you bid, you get 1 bag for each trick over, collect 10 and you lose 100 points

Bid: before a hand is played, based on the cards you hold, now many tricks you can win

Hand: players play one card each high card in suit takes the hand unless a trump is played and then high trump wins the hand, 13 tricks per hand

Lay of the cards: how the cards are dealt on any given hand

Nil Bid: a bid of nil......your intent to not take a trick in a hand, +100 points if you succeed, -100 points if you take even 1 trick

Over bid hand: there are 13 tricks per hand.....if the bids total 14 or more....one team will go back...maybe both

Set: a team failures to make their bid, their lose 10 points for each bid example team total bid was 7, team took 6 or less tricks....you lose 70 points.....also referred to as "going in the hole" or "going back"

Suits: Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts

Trick: one round of play in a hand

Trump: in Spades, the spades are always trump, beats everything except a higher trump, can only be played if you don't have the suit lead..must be played if trump is lead.....trump can't be lead until a player trumps in....

Trumping In: playing a trump on a trick when you are out of that suit....but it's the players choice...unless trump is lead...

We/They: as in any partners card game one of the possible names for the 2 teams....I've seen "us" & "them".....and a few others i can't mention here

Glossary of Terms Solitaire

Auto-play: when the next series of moves is obvious, the game may automatically do them.{aka: auto-fill}....

Foundation: where you're trying to more the cards to.....move them all and you win

DECK: from which cards are turned over one at a time

Relaxed: a change in the rules from the standard game to make it play easier..varies from game to game..

Re-Set/Undo: both Just Solitaire and World of Solitaire games have both a re-set and an undo option....re-set takes the game back to the start....undo will remove one move at a time....both can be useful to try other options....

Tableau: where the cards to be moved start the hand
