Poker:[04:03]..pickup the awaiting drop(w/ad) for 44K..added to the 66K from yesterdays roulette spin that gives me "110K house money..[off to the /usual other tasks to run time off the "drop clock"]..:[05:05]..five tables played..all were of the 1K/.5K variety & plunked down my 125K-max-buy-in on all five..play varied from a few more "heads up" hands than are/usual..especially on the 2nd & 3rd table..up to briefly a table of four..but most hands were played @three handed..at one time or another all the usual suspects made an appearance..a brief raid by a kamikaze..pot pushers..any-two-carders..pocket singleton Ace/any pair/any paint bettors..a few members of the "Ladies of Poker"..[[but no high heels today were received]..several bouts of "My pair is bigger than Yours' is"..and a couple of ersatz "table captains"..but the weird thing was..to paraphrase Longfellow.."when the tables were good they were decent but when they were bad they were horrible"..over the course of the four tables I won pot 14 times out of the 61..1 for every 4.36 hands played..but I won 12 of those pots on the 2nd & 3rd tables..1 for every 2.17 hands played..on the other three tables only won 2 pots out of 35 hands played..1 for every 17.5 hands played..1st table..only played 8 hands but won a decent pot with a set of Fours..and then the first of 5 visits from the "Reaper"..2nd & 3rd tables..although there was some loose play..which I avoid..only made 4 quality hands..a set/a straight/a flush & a full boat..was catching decent hands..but all the pots were of the small/blinds variety..and after the "Reaper" got me for the 3rd time was up marginally..about 10K +/-..and then..4th & 5th table..had just a few decent hole cards..and when I did would either miss the flop or get "blown" out of the hand by a raise I just had to refuse..and the one hand I did win.."heads up"..I won with a Jack high card..[shrugs]..and welcomed the 5th visit from the "Grim Reaper"..ergo..:{stats}..55 minutes played..115 minutes off the "drop clock"..61 hands played..14 wins..1 out of every 4.36 hands played..left 18,199$ all on the last two tables..[no slots]....
Video Poker Live:..Just finished my run for the 2x modifier..learned something..had picked up some chips around 09:40..had the 2x modifier..went back at 11:40 modifier was gone..my current working hypothesis is that the modifier re-sets @15:00 GMT..will check that hypothesis tomorrow....didn't have a very good run for the 2x modifier but hit the free chip button a couple of times..I love "house money"....[12:04 UTC-4]....
