*[06:56 UTC-4]*[Today's Live Game(s) Results]*<[Facebook]>..Poker:[04:10]:..took the awaiting drop(s/ad.) for "22K house money"..[the/usual side-trips to run time off the "drop clock"]..:[05:14]:..five tables played..all as/usual were of the 1K/.5K blinds variety..& as/always..on all I plunked down my/usual 125K-max-buy-in..play varied from some "heads up" to very briefly a table of six (see 5th table)..play was a mixed bag..most of the usual suspects made at least one appearance..any-two-carding..pocket singleton Ace/any pair or paint..pot-pushing/continuation betting..kamikaze/dive-bombers..and several bouts of "My Pairs bigger than Yours' is"..one classic many hand battle [see 5th hand]..1st & 2nd tables..just generally loose/aggressive play..and I just wasn't catching..went into "ultra tight mode" only won four pots out of the 22 hands played on the two tables..all blind pots..most of them heads up..had the 16 hands mission when I got kicked for the second time by the "Grim One"..but not the 10K+..was down about 9'K$..claimed the 16 hands & off to the 3rd & then the 4th tables..in style of play these two tables were basically carbon copies of the first two..only difference was I was catching a little better..won seven pots combined between these two tables out of 24 hands played..most were of the small variety..but again played ultra-tight and tried to stay out of the way..got the 10K+ on the first hand I played on table three..and after the "Reaper" escorted me off both tables..had managed to claw my way back to only just over 4K$ down..and then..had only played 46 hands..decided to play one more table..took my "chair" and with my arrival a table of six..second hand..third to act..pocket Twos..first to act goes all-in..second follows suit..I ran away..before the flop..4 players all-in and the big stack had "covered"..now a table of three..in a couple of hands..me and two new players..a Kamikaze & one of the "Ladies of Poker"..a couple of hands..all-in & 2 folds..exit the kamikaze..enter a 2nd "Lady of Poker"..have been at table with both many times..both extremely aggressive..and one of the best multiple hands battle over whose pair was bigger..did manage to win four pots out of 14 hands played on this table..all but one were small pots..and the other was a blind pot..just never caught the right hand to join the festivities..got bounced again by the "Reaper"..lost a little at this table..but all things considered..not a bad day..and avoid any "'bad beat"..ergo..:{stats}:..48 minutes played..114 minutes of the "drop clock"..60 hands played..15 pots..1 for every 4 hands played..left 6,938$ on the tables..[no slots]....[just took a "cycle" of drops from my 3 live games..."Poker" a 22K drop(s/ad.).."Blackjack" a 200$ drop.."Video Poker Live" 80K chips drop + 50K chip Instant Bonus[w/2x modifier) early hit the Instant Bonus for 400K chips[w/2x modifier]....Video Poker Live: I had thought that the 2x modifier re-set @15:00 GMT..aka:11:00 my local time..but when I went to take a drop @10:55 it had already re-set..??..anyways..not one of my better runs for the 2x modifier..dropped 150'K chips..but got the modifier and early as reported above hit the 200K x 2 for the second straight day..so despite the "loss" am still ahead.."Current Bank" now stands@44.425'M chips....[11:13 UTC-4]....Day's End Poker: Total Bank: 671.6'M / Net Gain Today: 279.2'K / Drops[7]&Roulette[1]: 286'K/ Tables[5] -6,938$ / Hands Played Today: 60 / Total Hands Played: 61,746 / [[notes]: 4 drops@22 & 3 drops@44$ & 1 roulette spin@66K]....[19:15 UTC-4]....

Glossary of Terms Spades

A game: made up of several hands, collect 500 points and you win....you can also win regardless of you're score if your opponents score -200 points or more

Bags: if you as a team take more tricks then you bid, you get 1 bag for each trick over, collect 10 and you lose 100 points

Bid: before a hand is played, based on the cards you hold, now many tricks you can win

Hand: players play one card each high card in suit takes the hand unless a trump is played and then high trump wins the hand, 13 tricks per hand

Lay of the cards: how the cards are dealt on any given hand

Nil Bid: a bid of nil......your intent to not take a trick in a hand, +100 points if you succeed, -100 points if you take even 1 trick

Over bid hand: there are 13 tricks per hand.....if the bids total 14 or more....one team will go back...maybe both

Set: a team failures to make their bid, their lose 10 points for each bid example team total bid was 7, team took 6 or less tricks....you lose 70 points.....also referred to as "going in the hole" or "going back"

Suits: Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts

Trick: one round of play in a hand

Trump: in Spades, the spades are always trump, beats everything except a higher trump, can only be played if you don't have the suit lead..must be played if trump is lead.....trump can't be lead until a player trumps in....

Trumping In: playing a trump on a trick when you are out of that suit....but it's the players choice...unless trump is lead...

We/They: as in any partners card game one of the possible names for the 2 teams....I've seen "us" & "them".....and a few others i can't mention here

Glossary of Terms Solitaire

Auto-play: when the next series of moves is obvious, the game may automatically do them.{aka: auto-fill}....

Foundation: where you're trying to more the cards to.....move them all and you win

DECK: from which cards are turned over one at a time

Relaxed: a change in the rules from the standard game to make it play easier..varies from game to game..

Re-Set/Undo: both Just Solitaire and World of Solitaire games have both a re-set and an undo option....re-set takes the game back to the start....undo will remove one move at a time....both can be useful to try other options....

Tableau: where the cards to be moved start the hand
