*[06:49 UTC-4]*[Today's Live Game(s) Results]..<[Facebook}>..Poker:[20:27]: took a late drop(w/ad.) for "44K house money..:[04:01]..took the awaiting drop(w/ad.) for another "44K house money"..[the/usual side-trips to run time off the "drop clock"..:[04:59]:..five tables played during the session..all as/usual were of the 1K/.5K variety & on all as/always I placed my 125K-max-buy-in on the "felt"..play varied from "heads up" to just briefly a six handed game..but for the most part most hands were with three at the table..no kamikazes'dive-bombers..no true any-two-carders..the occasional pocket singleton Ace/any pair/any paint pre-flop splash up to and include an all-in or two..on one table some pot-pushing from a player known to me..but by-in-large all but the first table were tables where I was able to play my "small ball/slow play/trapping style"..1st table..had only played two hands when the game froze..no pots won..a dis-connect/re-connect & a legitimate kick for violation of the rule of three..[a sigh from the MadTrollie.."Here we go again"] &/then [this dude in a red clock & cape..carrying a pitchfork came up to me..put his arm around me and said "It finally froze"]..all of the next for tables I was able to play my style and was catching..now I never won more than a small/blind pot..but I won a bunch of them..and never took a bad beat..2nd table..15 hands played..6 winners..one on a high card..once on a pair & the other four with 2 pair..& then the "Reaper"..3rd table..15 hands played..4 hands won..a high card..a pair & twice with 2 pair & once with a rivered full house..& a split pot straight..& again the "Reaper"..4th table..12 hands played..6 winners..4 times with a pair..once with 2 pair & once with a flush..& again the "Reaper"..after the 4th table I checked my stats..I had achieved both the 16 hands & 10K+ missions on the 2nd table and had claimed them before proceeding to the 3rd table & a check of the stats revealed only 44 hands played to that point..and I like to play a minimum of 50..thought twice about it..I mean how long could my "hot streak" last..but decided to put my "head in the noose" one more time..5th table..12 hands played..5 winners..with in the first few hands had an Ace/Seven suited..flop 4 to the nut flush when a King/Nine fell..and the Five on the turn sealed the deal..won four other pots twice with a pair & twice with 2 pair..played thrice around a table of four & left "under my own steam"..[just picked up drops/bonus on all three "Live" games.."Poker" a drop(w/ad.) for "44K".."Blackjack 21" a drop for 200$ & "Video Poker Live" a drop for 80K & hit the instant bonus for the max 400K(w/2x modifier)]..weird thing about the session was out of 22 wins..only 4 quality hands..and one was a split pot..ergo..:{stats}:..41 minutes played..99 minutes off the "drop clock"..56 hands played..22 winners..1 out of every 2.45 hands played..left with an extra 14,575$ I hadn't brung with me..[no slots]....Video Poker Live:..took my run for the 2x modifier just after it re-set@15:00 GMT..10 hands@50K chips/hand..not my best but hardly my worst..dropped 50K chips..but have already made that back and more with recent drops..have decided only to play more than the run for the modifier unless I'm close to leveling up.."Current Bank" now stands@43,270'K chips....[13:46 UTC-4]....

Glossary of Terms Spades

A game: made up of several hands, collect 500 points and you win....you can also win regardless of you're score if your opponents score -200 points or more

Bags: if you as a team take more tricks then you bid, you get 1 bag for each trick over, collect 10 and you lose 100 points

Bid: before a hand is played, based on the cards you hold, now many tricks you can win

Hand: players play one card each high card in suit takes the hand unless a trump is played and then high trump wins the hand, 13 tricks per hand

Lay of the cards: how the cards are dealt on any given hand

Nil Bid: a bid of nil......your intent to not take a trick in a hand, +100 points if you succeed, -100 points if you take even 1 trick

Over bid hand: there are 13 tricks per hand.....if the bids total 14 or more....one team will go back...maybe both

Set: a team failures to make their bid, their lose 10 points for each bid example team total bid was 7, team took 6 or less tricks....you lose 70 points.....also referred to as "going in the hole" or "going back"

Suits: Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts

Trick: one round of play in a hand

Trump: in Spades, the spades are always trump, beats everything except a higher trump, can only be played if you don't have the suit lead..must be played if trump is lead.....trump can't be lead until a player trumps in....

Trumping In: playing a trump on a trick when you are out of that suit....but it's the players choice...unless trump is lead...

We/They: as in any partners card game one of the possible names for the 2 teams....I've seen "us" & "them".....and a few others i can't mention here

Glossary of Terms Solitaire

Auto-play: when the next series of moves is obvious, the game may automatically do them.{aka: auto-fill}....

Foundation: where you're trying to more the cards to.....move them all and you win

DECK: from which cards are turned over one at a time

Relaxed: a change in the rules from the standard game to make it play easier..varies from game to game..

Re-Set/Undo: both Just Solitaire and World of Solitaire games have both a re-set and an undo option....re-set takes the game back to the start....undo will remove one move at a time....both can be useful to try other options....

Tableau: where the cards to be moved start the hand
