*[06:16 UTC-4]*[Today's Live Game(s) Results]*<[Facebook]>..Poker:[03:56]: picked up the awaiting drop(w/ad.) for "44K house money"..[the/usual side-trips to run time off the "drop clock"]..:[04:56]..five tables played..all were of the 1K/.5K blinds variety & on all as/is my custom I brought my usual 125K-max-buy-in..play varied from "heads up" to briefly a five handed game..much like yesterday the general play was quite loose..but unlike yesterday when the wild crazy play was sporadic..today it was much more frequent..and unlike yesterday when I was catching and making a decent percentage of "quality" hands..today except on the 5th table..just wasn't catching atall..and only two quality hands out of the 10 pots won..all the usual suspects made an appearance..save for a true kamikaze..but there were several all-ins..pre-flop or at some time during the hand..and a couple of times the whole table save me..more pot-pushing/continuation bettors then I care to remember..myriad bouts of "My pairs bigger that Yours' is"..one was won with a rived pair of Threes..and a couple others with high card..??..more pocket singleton Ace/any pair/any paint than you could "shake a stick at"..and then the most at least to me irritating felon..the any-two-carder..except when I'm catching..then I like them just fine....first four tables..played 51 hands and only won 6 pots..all of the small/blind variety..just too many blinds & a couple of times willing to see a reasonable raise and not getting "my card"..had achieved the 16 hands mission at the third table..and claimed it after the "Reaper" got me..never got the 10K+ mission until the 3rd table..and was down one side or the other of 32K...after the four visit from the "Reaper" checked my stats and had played 51 hands..so my daily goal of hands played was met..but decided to play on..5th table..play was just as crazy as the first four tables..and all though I didn't make a quality hand did win 4 pots out of 15 hands played..once with a pair & the other 3 with 2 pair..3 small/blind pots..& 1 halfway decent..and had "won back" about 4K when the "Reaper" got me again..ergo..:{stats}:..28 minutes played..108 minutes off the "drop clock"..69 hands played..10 winners..1 out of every 6.9 hands played..left 28,375$ on the tables..[no slots]....Video Poker Live: made a run for the 2x modifier and since I was close to "leveling up"..played a total of 15 hands@50K/hand..and never made anything better than a couple of two pairs..lost 250K chips for the session..which I'll get back and more with the 2x modifier for the next 24 hours.."Current Bank" now stands@50.505'M chips....[11:16 UTC-4]....[edited:[18:52]:]....Day's End Poker: Total Bank: 674.3'M / Net Gain Today: 1,181.6'K / Drops[6]&Roulette[2]: 1,210'K / Tables[5]: -28,375$ / Hands Played Today: 69 / Total Hands Played: 61,989 / [[notes]: 4 drops@44K & 2 drops@22K & 2 roulette spins: 1@110K & 1@880K[s/chip]]....[18:55 UTC-4]....

(I tend to post sometimes several times a day.....rather then start a new post.....I just edit the existing post and tack on to it....I generally post for the last time during the day between 20:00 UTC-5 & 21:30 UTC-5)

Glossary of Terms Spades

A game: made up of several hands, collect 500 points and you win....you can also win regardless of you're score if your opponents score -200 points or more

Bags: if you as a team take more tricks then you bid, you get 1 bag for each trick over, collect 10 and you lose 100 points

Bid: before a hand is played, based on the cards you hold, now many tricks you can win

Hand: players play one card each high card in suit takes the hand unless a trump is played and then high trump wins the hand, 13 tricks per hand

Lay of the cards: how the cards are dealt on any given hand

Nil Bid: a bid of nil......your intent to not take a trick in a hand, +100 points if you succeed, -100 points if you take even 1 trick

Over bid hand: there are 13 tricks per hand.....if the bids total 14 or more....one team will go back...maybe both

Set: a team failures to make their bid, their lose 10 points for each bid example team total bid was 7, team took 6 or less tricks....you lose 70 points.....also referred to as "going in the hole" or "going back"

Suits: Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts

Trick: one round of play in a hand

Trump: in Spades, the spades are always trump, beats everything except a higher trump, can only be played if you don't have the suit lead..must be played if trump is lead.....trump can't be lead until a player trumps in....

Trumping In: playing a trump on a trick when you are out of that suit....but it's the players choice...unless trump is lead...

We/They: as in any partners card game one of the possible names for the 2 teams....I've seen "us" & "them".....and a few others i can't mention here

Glossary of Terms Solitaire

Auto-play: when the next series of moves is obvious, the game may automatically do them.{aka: auto-fill}....

Foundation: where you're trying to more the cards to.....move them all and you win

DECK: from which cards are turned over one at a time

Relaxed: a change in the rules from the standard game to make it play easier..varies from game to game..

Re-Set/Undo: both Just Solitaire and World of Solitaire games have both a re-set and an undo option....re-set takes the game back to the start....undo will remove one move at a time....both can be useful to try other options....

Tableau: where the cards to be moved start the hand
