[]*[Today's Live Game(s) Results]..<[Facebook]>..Poker:[04:27]: picked up the awaiting drop(w/ad) for "44K house money"..[the/usual side-trips to run time off the "drop clock"]..:[06:39]:..a very interesting day..six tables played..as/usual all were of the 1K/.5K blinds variety..and as/usual I put my 125K-max-buy-in "at risk" on all six..play varied from the /usual number of hands "heads up"..three of the tables when I "sat down" it was just the MadTrollie & the dealer..but at times was a 6 handed game..and every thing in between..hard to figure an average but best guess would be between three & four handed..except for the absence of any kamikazes..and the accompanying dive-bombers most of the other usual list of suspects made appearances..any-two-carders/continuation bettors..pocket Ace/any pair or paint pre-flop splashes..several bouts of "My pairs bigger than Yours' is"..pot-pushers..and a couple of big post-river bets from a player trying to "buy" the pot..except for a few of the "Ladies of Poker" didn't see any other players that I've see enough times before to have a "read" on the them..and as/is the norm in the era of "The Grim Reaper"..he was responsible for all my exists from all six tables..[shrugs]..1st table..never actually played a hand.."sat down" during the play of a hand..got booted mid-next hand & got credit for one hand played..2nd table..played 13 hands..made 3 pots..twice with a pair & the other with a full boat..but wasn't getting very many good looks in the pocket..and wasn't hitting many flops..3rd table..save for the visit from the "Reaper" I would have built a house on this table..only sporadic aggressive play..but players I had a "read" on..got a few decent "looks" hit a couple of flops and won a couple of decent pots..won five pots..on a pair..twice on two pair..and twice on full boats..& the two full boats..both decent pots were on back-to-back hands..14 hands played..and was up just south of 15K when the "Reaper" drugged me "kickin' & cussin" from the table..4th table..just an almost constant stream of loose play..I was getting decent pocket looks..but missed most of the flops..did win 2 small/blind pots once with a pair & the other with 2 pair..13 hands played..5th table..was on one of the low levels of the abyss in which resided the aforementioned "pot buyer"..8 hands played..never caught a hand I was willing to risk..but did pickup 500$ from 5 goes at the one-armed-bandit..6th table..a wild table..13 hands played..the vast majority of the pots were won on rivered cards..and twice on runner-runners..3 pots won..on a pair..a rivered pair..& a runner/runner full boat..three handed..in the big blind..Ace/Ten unsuited..flopped an Ace..turned an Ace..rivered a Ten..a decent pot..okay..would have won the pot anyways with the turned set..and again the "Reaper"..ergo..:{stats}:..52 minutes played..116 minutes off the "drop clock"..62 hands played..13 pots..1 for every 4.77 hands played..left 100$ on the tables..but with the 500$ from slots..up 400$ on the day..but an interesting day nonetheless....oh what a dummkopf I can be..forgot to claim the 16 hands mission..that will "cost: me the loss of a drop today..oy vey..[07:29 UTC-4]....Video Poker Live:..the daily run to get the 2x modifier was a fairly successful one..played all hands at either 25K/hand or 30'K/hand..and confirmed that the higher the wager the few the hands you need to play to gain the 2x modifier..and picked up an extra 200K+ to boot.."Total Bank" how stands@34,555,000 chips....[11:23 UTC-4]....Blackjack 21: so i decided to play 10 hands@500$/...dealer was hot and I wasn't..did make one blackjack & a 3 card 21..and one a hand with a 14 when the dealer busted..but besides that "got skunked" on the other 7 hands..down 1,750.."Total Bank" now stands@1,053,760$....[11:41 UTC-4]....Day's End Poker: Total Bank: 666.2'M / Net Gain Today: 594.4'K / Drops[6]&Roulette[1]: 594'K / Tables[6]&Slots[5]: +400$ / Hands Played Today: 62 / Total Hands Played: 61,344 / [[notes] 6 drop@44 & 1 roulette spin@330K]*[[From the Tables]: I have a late drop that I probably won't take..but if I do I'll count it in tomorrow "Day's End"]....[19:08 UTC-4]....

Glossary of Terms Spades

A game: made up of several hands, collect 500 points and you win....you can also win regardless of you're score if your opponents score -200 points or more

Bags: if you as a team take more tricks then you bid, you get 1 bag for each trick over, collect 10 and you lose 100 points

Bid: before a hand is played, based on the cards you hold, now many tricks you can win

Hand: players play one card each high card in suit takes the hand unless a trump is played and then high trump wins the hand, 13 tricks per hand

Lay of the cards: how the cards are dealt on any given hand

Nil Bid: a bid of nil......your intent to not take a trick in a hand, +100 points if you succeed, -100 points if you take even 1 trick

Over bid hand: there are 13 tricks per hand.....if the bids total 14 or more....one team will go back...maybe both

Set: a team failures to make their bid, their lose 10 points for each bid example team total bid was 7, team took 6 or less tricks....you lose 70 points.....also referred to as "going in the hole" or "going back"

Suits: Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts

Trick: one round of play in a hand

Trump: in Spades, the spades are always trump, beats everything except a higher trump, can only be played if you don't have the suit lead..must be played if trump is lead.....trump can't be lead until a player trumps in....

Trumping In: playing a trump on a trick when you are out of that suit....but it's the players choice...unless trump is lead...

We/They: as in any partners card game one of the possible names for the 2 teams....I've seen "us" & "them".....and a few others i can't mention here

Glossary of Terms Solitaire

Auto-play: when the next series of moves is obvious, the game may automatically do them.{aka: auto-fill}....

Foundation: where you're trying to more the cards to.....move them all and you win

DECK: from which cards are turned over one at a time

Relaxed: a change in the rules from the standard game to make it play easier..varies from game to game..

Re-Set/Undo: both Just Solitaire and World of Solitaire games have both a re-set and an undo option....re-set takes the game back to the start....undo will remove one move at a time....both can be useful to try other options....

Tableau: where the cards to be moved start the hand
